Season 2009/2010

The GFA 1st Division this season sees College Cosmos, winners of Division 2 in 2008/2009, join the top flight of Gibraltar Football in place of Shamrock 101 FC. As last year, seven teams have registered in this division.

Meanwhile the 2nd Division has seen new teams such as FC Britannia XI and Gib Pilots Cotton Leisure replace Moroccan Utd. and the recently promoted College Cosmos to maintain 14 teams in the division.

The newly established Reserve League in 2008 has seen it its numbers increase from 9 to 11 with both Cannon FC (Res) and Leo Santos & Sons FC (Res) fielding teams.
